Who we are

Silsila Education (United Kingdom) runs this website and is the data controller for the details described here. You can reach us at info@silsilaeducation.co.uk.

What we collect

When you fill in the pilot form, we receive:

• your maktab’s name, town or city, rough number of students and classes
• your name and email address, and your phone number if you give it
• anything you write in the message box
• the date and time you sent the form and agreed to this notice

The website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not collect anything else about your visit.

Why we use it

Only to contact you about the pilot: to arrange a call, decide whether the pilot suits your maktab, and set up your maktab’s account if you go ahead. We do not use it for marketing and we never sell it.

Our lawful basis

Your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us, and we will stop using your details.

How long we keep it

Until twelve months after our last contact with you about the pilot. If your maktab joins Silsila, the contact details you choose to keep move into your maktab’s account and are kept under that agreement instead.

Who we share it with

Nobody outside Silsila Education, apart from the service providers we use to host this website and to store and route the form submissions. They act only on our instructions and may not use your details for anything else.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• send you a copy of the details we hold about you
• correct anything that is wrong
• delete your details
• stop using your details

Email info@silsilaeducation.co.uk and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
